Questions You May Have About Hypnosis

1. What does hypnosis feel like?

Hypnosis is the way to experience trance, natural mental and physical states which we actually visit every day. It can feel like daydreaming or it can feel exciting and focused!

2. Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

When you are in a hypnotic trance, you are not actually asleep. You are, however, often very relaxed and quite alert to everything that is going on. Even if I were to leave, you would eventually surface on your own, feeling fine.

3. Will you "take control" of me when I am in trance?

No, I will not. In fact, I will help you gain control over your thoughts, emotions, actions and reactions. Think of it as more of a place where you become "in choice"...and I'm your tour guide.

4. Will I have no memory of the session?

While it is possible to instill hypnotic amnesia, it is unnecessary to do so in my use of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool. One of the advantages of the hypnotic state is that you will be more fully focused on the particular issue that we are working on, bringing clarity and understanding that was previously unattainable.

5. Can you instantly "fix" me?

Some issues can be resolved very quickly through hypnotherapy. Others may take more than one or two sessions and  I will do my best to work with you in a timely manner to resolve them, if possible. If I feel that your issue is not something that can be relieved or improved upon with hypnotherapy, I will certainly refer you to a more suitable resource.

6. Does it help to listen to hypnosis recordings?

Yes! Studies have shown that repetition has a strong influence on our subconscious thought processes, making it easier to change habits and create motivation for positive direction. I provide clients with my own quality recordings and in some cases, even create customized ones.

7. How much does it cost?

It is impossible to predict how long it will take to help you find that comfort and balance that you are seeking. I have worked with clients for as little as one session and as several as ten sessions.

  • Individual session fee is $200; discounts are available when a package of multiple sessions are prepaid.
  • The Smoking/Tobacco Cessation Program cost is $400.
  • I accept cash, personal checks, debit and credit cards.

8. How do I contact you to find out more?

You can email me  or, if you prefer, call me at 360-333-8577. I promise to respond as soon as possible.
